Features
The ZT-2550 ZigBee wireless module is a compact ZigBee host converter based on the IEEE802.15.4 standard that allows RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces to convert to a personal area ZigBee wireless network. The communication distance of ZigBee wireless products is up to 700 meters or 2297 feet, with a transmission frequency range between 2.405 GHz and 2.48 GHz, separated into 5 MHz sectors, providing 16 channels and 16384 PAN IDs. The ZT-2550 ZigBee wireless host converter also works as a ZigBee router to extend the transmission range and improve the ZigBee wireless signal. The ZT-2550 ZigBee wireless products can work with high level communication protocols with small and low-power-consumption digital radio modules, which complies with the ZigBee Alliance. The only ZigBee Host allowed in a ZigBee wireless network is called “ZigBee Coordinator”. The ZT-2550 ZigBee Host Converters are used to initialize and manage the routing of the ZigBee network. A ZigBee wireless network is able to manage 255 ZigBee routers and receive or bypass data from a parent or child node.
A Windows compatible GUI configuration utility is provided with the ZT-2550 ZigBee host converter. The easy-to-use utility allows users to set different configurations and ZigBee variables like Pan ID. The friendly user interface can meet your various ZigBee application needs.
