Rack Based Data Acquisition

ICP DAS USA offers expansion racks for use with I-87K Data Acquisition I/O modules offer easy integration of a high number of I/O in a small space for control panels and automated systems.  The expansion racks can be used with our free EZ Data Logger Software, a free PC based data logging, data acquisition, control and monitoring software for remote I/O Systems with up to 64 I/O tags.

I-8000 Parallel Data Acquisition Modules

FRnet Interface Modules

Modbus I/O Expansion Racks

Modbus is a protocol in the industrial manufacturing and environment monitoring fields. It suits master-slave or query-response distributed I/O applications. The units have pre-installed a Modbus firmware. PC's, HMI's or PLC's can use Modbus/TCP and Modbus/RTU protocol to communicate with I/O modules in the unit via the RS-232/485 or Ethernet interface.

RS-485 I/O Expansion Racks

RU-87Pn I/O expansion units are used to expand I-87K series I/O modules via the RS-485 interface. They are equipped with one power module, one RS-485 interface, one CPU module and several I/O slots. High profile I-87K series I/O modules can be plugged into the unit. RU-87Pn series I/O Expansion Racks have auto configuration. Each slot configuration can be pre-configured and stored in the CPU module. Once a module is plugged in, the CPU module will write the pre-configured data to the module. They are also hot swappable.

USB I/O Expansion Racks

USB-87Pn series are intelligent I/O expansion units with a USB communication interface, are hot swappable, and can use any i-87K series (High profile) modules. USB I/O Expansion racks are used for industrial monitoring and controlling applications. There are more than 30 I/O modules supported with the unit-- including analog input/output, digital input/output, and counter/frequency I/O modules.
