IoTstar

IoTstar is a software developed by ICP DAS USA for users to manage and control web based remote monitoring systems in industrial IoT applications. IoTstar can be installed on a private or public IoT cloud system and provides 3 major services for any industrial IoT application needs:

• Controller Remote Access: Status monitoring, system setting, and firmware update
• Sensor Data Collection: Data collected and transferred into cloud’s database
• Sensor Data Visualization: Review data through IoTstar dashboard’s interface

IoTstar is developed for ICP DAS USA’s WISE/PMC/PMD controllers. There is no-programming required for the IoT Cloud system development and the system’s settings can only be completed through web interface. Through the SQL command, IoTstar can efficiently be integrated with cloud platforms and data analysis tools such as SCADA system, Google data and more to help users built “IoT + Big Data” cloud application.

IoTstar can be installed to the public cloud platform such as: Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix, Google Cloud or Amazon AWS to implement the public IoT cloud system with the system’s controllers. IoTstar can also be installed on a private Windows PC such as Windows 7/8/10, for a safe environment that users can managed from.

Users using IoTstar do not need to worry about programming the system’s controllers. Just a few clicks to complete the IoT cloud system through a web page interface.

Controller Remote Access & Maintenance Service

Reduce the time and cost! Users do not need to worry about the network’s environment of the system’s controllers. Users can monitor the status, adjust system settings and update firmware of the controllers through the web interface from the comfort of the user’s office or home; whether or not the the controllers uses static, dynamic, virtual or physical IP.

Sensor Data Collection Service

The sensor data service through IoTstar collects real-time and past logged data from the controllers and imports the data to the cloud’s database. Users can efficiently set-up the Data Lake for IoT and Big Data applications and can modify the data in the database to change the status of the DO/AO channel of sensors connected to the controllers through the SQL command. SQL interface is meant to speed up the integration of OT and IT systems.

Sensor Data Visualization Service

IoTstar provides its Dashboard Service Package, which through the platform’s editor and widgets, users can efficiently customize their dashboard’s page to their needs and review the status in real-time of the application’s system. Users can directly query and review the real-time or past logged data collected from the system’s controllers.

IoTstar Dashboard Service provides users the dashboard’s editor and a variety of widget components. Users can setup the dashboard pages to review the real-time sensor or power data and it can also change the values of the DO/AO output channels of sensors. Users can quickly set up the dashboard pages required to review the current and past data.
