Features
Equipped with various digital I/O functions, the ET-2260 module serves as an IP-based Ethernet I/O monitoring and control module. With its 10/100 MB network connection capability, the module can remotely be controlled via Modbus TCP/UDP protocol. Since Modbus has become a de facto standard communications protocol in industry, it is the most commonly available means of connecting industrial electronic devices. This makes the ET-2260 module most ideal for integrating with the HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
The ET-2260 provides 6 wet contact Digital Input channels and 6 Form A electromechanical Relays. There are 2 Ethernet ports, which allow daisy-chaining for the ET-2260. This type of connection configuration permits for greater flexibility in locating devices, simplifies installation, and lowers cost in infrastructure. Featuring a 8 kV ESD protection, 4 kV EFT protection, 3 kV surge, and 3000 VDC I/O isolation offers impromved noise protection capabilities in industrial environments. Each input channel can be used as a 32-bit counter. The power-on value and safe value of relay are configurable.
The module can be used to create Digital Input to Digital Output pair-connect through the Ethernet. After configuration, the ET-2260 module can poll the status of the local Digital Input channels and then use the Modbus/TCP protocol to continuously write to the remote Digital Output devices.
The terminal block connectors are for easy wiring in industrial situations. The ET-2260 is equipped with a powerful 32-bit ARM MCU, which offers efficient network trafficking.
