The TDS-700 series are Serial-to-Ethernet device servers that add Ethernet and Internet connectivity to any RS-232/422/485 device. Virtual COM ports are set up with the VxComm Driver/Utility so the built-in COM port of the TDS-700 series can be virtualized to a standard PC COM port in Windows.
Learn about the tSH-700 series that performs serval functions such as baud rate conversion, Modbus RTU/ASCII conversion, and acts as a Two Masters Share One Slave device. The tSH-700 series has a built-in web server, which eliminates the need for command-line console interaction.
We offer RS-485 high-speed I-7510 repeaters to ensure signal strength and quality over long distances. With our RS-485 repeaters, an RS-485 system can be expanded beyond the 256 node limitation imposed by the standard. The RS-485 repeaters can also be used to convert a four-wire RS-422 signal into a 2-wire RS-485 signal, and vice versa.
Ethernet/IP uses all the transport and control protocols of standard Ethernet including the Transport Control Protocol (TCP), the User Datagram Protocol (UDP), the Internet Protocol (IP) and the media access and signaling technologies found in off-the-shelf Ethernet technology. Building on these standard communication technologies means that Ethernet/IP works transparently with all the standard Ethernet devices found in today's market-place.
