    Introduction

    PISO-ENCODER300U contains a 3-axis encoder counter.  Each axis has a 32-bit, high-resolution true counter with an Encoder Counting Rate of 4 MHz max. The counting mode supports:  Quadrant mode, CW/CCW mode, and PULSE/ DIR mode. It has three counter reset modes: Register Reset, Index Reset, and Hardware Reset. The "Index Reset" mode resets by using a C+/C- channel, which resets the counter on each revolution. The "Hardware Reset" mode resets the counter using external pin (HR1 ~ HR6). The HR1 ~ HR6 pins can also be used as digital inputs. The PISO-ENCODER300U has 8 digital outputs.  2500 Vrms photo-couplers are used to isolate the digital I/O which prevents high voltages from affecting the system.  It comes with device drivers and function libraries for DOS, Windows 7 and Windows XP/2000.
