Hi Maria, USB Based Data Acquisition modules allow you to acquire data including pressure, temperature, current, voltage, frequency, and count or put out digital or relay outputs from your computer or controller over a USB cable. USB 2.0 can communicate up to 5 meters. You can extend the distance with USB hubs. For long distance wired applications, you can use serial to USB converters and serial I/O for communication up to 4000 meters. Serial repeaters can extend serial communication greater distances.
