The FPM-D2440 is a power module for the iDCS-8000 system. It is a 24 VDC input with isolated 5V power output. The isolated 5V power provides maximum 40W to the iDCS-8000 system. This power module also offers non-isolated 24V power with 5A fuse limitation. Besides, this module also offers LED to indicate power status locally. Moreover, the module offers 1000 VDC isolation between channels and backplane bus. If any high voltage or current damages the channels, the system (backplanes, other modules, and control unit) won't be affected because the benefit of isolation.

(3) The 24VDC output is non-isolated and directly bypassed from input power. This power internally connects to the module to provide power source to field devices. The current, up to 5A, of 24VDC is limited by fuse.
