Project Overview
Badaling tunnels located at Badaling highway 55 kilometers, consisting of Tanyugou, Badaling, passes, and other components of the tunnel. Complete in 1998 to traffic, through many years of operation the original system's functions cannot be repair or satisfy the operation requirements, thus, transformation is required. This transformation mainly aims at supervisory system's transformation that include: RTU (Region Controller) Design and monitoring center software design development, while the superior monitoring software mainly uses Kingview 6.51, region controller mainly uses Oumulong CSI series PLC, which have been achieving great results.
This project is part of the Beijing Badaling Expressway's Juyongguan tunnel monitoring department. While this project mainly uses Oumulong CS series PLC, which all use Ethernet to connect PLC control traffic lights, fans, road lamps and information display boards. The superior monitoring system uses kingview6.51 as well as kingview6.51 NE TView edition completes to the tunnel in the equipment illumination, Ventilation, fire, transportation, monitoring of power distribution systems and running equipments to guarantee tunnel equipment's operate smoothly and safely.

Kingview Software
Superior monitoring system uses Kingview SCADA: 3 sets of Kingview 6.51, and 2 sets of Kingview 6.51 NETView.
Tunnel monitoring uses Kingview Netview software for client’s development. The entire client data message comes from the correspondence server software. First, all controlling passes to the correspondence server, then the correspondence server passes to PLC, Map screen and other equipments. At the same time, the correspondence server saves the important to the database.
System Structure
The system uses Controller Link industry field bus and the industry Ethernet network, which consisting of 4 control systems: on-site equipment layer, on-site control layer, control center layer and higher-level management layer.
On-site equipment layer: mainly include traffic light, fan, lights and CO, visibility sensor etc
On-site control layer: Consist of OMRON CSI series PLC that is called regional controller. Regional Controllers communicate through Controller Link Industrial Field Bus composition of the redundant fiber-optic ring network.
Control center layer: Made up of double server (2 sets of Kingview 6.51), communication computer (1 set of Kingview 6.51) and 2 monitoring computers (2 sets of Kingview 6.51 NETView).
Higher-level management layer: Consist of central monitoring data server and computer terminals and can be published on the web. Successfully, Kingview 6.51WEB series utilize in the Beijing Qinghe's remote monitoring central station.
Tunnel Control System Software Structure
System software uses C/ S structure and the tunnel monitoring system software divide according to the function to correspond the server software, information processing software, tunnel monitoring software, emergency phone software, CCTV control software and external power system monitoring software and fire alarm software.
In this design, database uses SQL Server2000, including: tunnel monitoring software, correspondence server software, information processing software, electric power monitoring software etc uses Kingview software to develop.

Tunnel structure includes a special skill tunnel and two long tunnels that controls more than 2,600points of total points, which are large and frequent interaction data. After analyzing this system, we have adopted a C / S structure of the network configuration, allowing all data acquisition and control (including the graphic screen display control) to be firstly concentrated on a communications workstation, and workstation server management software uses Kingview unlimited version.
This server establishes in the network configuration as I/O server, registers server, the alarm server and historical record server.
Configuration as follows:
On completion of the development, the system can achieve the following features:
1. Through the on-site equipment layer's factory detector, visibility monitor, light detector, wind speed & wind direction detector and other outfield equipment to obtain transmit dynamic real-time data, light intensity, wind speed and fan condition information, tunnel environment related information, transportation event and fire warning etc
2. Parameter establishment: transportation parameter establishment, lighting control parameter establishment, ventilation system controlled variable establishment and event warning parameter establishment
3. Traffic lights, traffic information display, tunnel regulating symbol, information board control and breakdown feedback
4. Complete manual illumination, pattern manual, automatic timing, and automatic light control
5. Fan manual, pattern manual, automatic event control
6. Fire Alarms linkage, CO / VI exceeding plan control
7. Graphic screen display control
8. Inspection, environmental information data records, information, statistics, statement print preview etc
9. Electrical equipment operating parameters display control by the switch
Fast response system, external equipments through the control orders to perform feedback to monitor interface in less than 200ms and responding time less than 1 second. In addition, the use of software configuration can be more realistic to adapt many animated graphics, and other equipment to reflect the image of the state, which is much easier than high-level language development.
